Post surgical rehabilitation

PhysiOsteo offers post surgical rehabilitation in order to re-establish joint motion, muscle strength around the joint and finally joint function. We start with home visits when necessary and continue in our practice, where there is adapted equipment to enhance rehabilitation. It is important to understand that whereas an operation is performed within hours, rehabilitation may take many months.

When there is post operative swelling our therapists, who are well trained in lymphatic drainage, can intervene right away.

Each patient and each intervention is unique, therefore we will adapt to the person and not to „protocol“ and design an individual treatment plan. This treatment plan involves progressive exercises that will begin to strengthen the body, retoring the patient´s range of motion and overall stability.

Our goal is to help you fully recover as fast and painfree as possible, using up-to-date equipment and evidence based treatment and techniques.
